YouthForce interns:

Are available from 3-6 pm, up to five days a week.
Are great helpers for your end-of day-needs, and your afternoon job provides needed employment that doesn't interfere with school, homework or family.
Can work up to 15 hours a week during school doing your filing, data entry, customer service support, faxing, copying or mail support. They are happy to help, no matter what!

All of our interns meet meet three core criteria:

A strong interest in your specific career field (ensuring high internal motivation and enthusiasm),
Demonstrated achievement in school and community (evidence that they have the skills and maturity required to succeed) and
The ability and commitment to get to work on time and home safely- everyday.

You determine the salary that works for you and your budget. Our recruiting and service fees are simple and affordable.

To attract and reward the best and brightest, we recommend a starting wage of $8.50/hr- adding $1.50/hr for taxes, this costs you $10/hr. Hiring an intern from 3-5pm provides a positive after school work experience for teens and a great end of day assistant for you and your office.
Our recruiting fee of $250 allows YouthForce to network your position to a wide array of schools, teachers and youth programs. We interview a host of teens so we can refer to you deserving low income and minority teens who are a great fit for you, and who see your internship as a great opportunity that will help them achieve their personal goals.
For $30 week, YouthForce provides all the payroll, liability, permits, education and mentor support to make it easy and successful for you to provide a successful teen internship. Our on-the-job curriculum promotes mentoring, reflective learning and career development for the interns, and our staff provide services and supports for your staff as needed.
